Native Seedlings

Native mayhaw seedlings are generally used for scion wood grafting. For this use the seedlings should be at least one to two years old and a quarter inch in diameter. Seedlings should be healthy and one to two feet tall. These can be planted for berry harvesting but are less productive than grafted trees.
Also native seedlings take years longer to reach acceptable berry production levels.
